Travel/Medical Insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory. Your insurance must cover you fully against the costs of helicopter evacuation, hospitalisation, medical care and repatriation if you become too ill to continue. There are many insurance companies offering coverage, it’s important to do your research and to make sure that your insurance covers you for emergency evacuation at altitudes above 5,300m. We will require a copy of your travel insurance certificate. World Nomads are a trekking company we are happy to recommend as are Allianz and Covermore. It is recommended that you also have adequate insurance to cover loss or damage of your belongings.
Extra options
If you have any additional travel requests while in Nepal, before or after the event, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are able to facilitate treks in any region of Nepal through our event partners at Take on Nepal.
Event cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel the event for reasons including insufficient entries, political unrest, or acts of God that would impede operations. In the event of such a cancellation, we will refund all payments for land costs or offer an alternate trek in Nepal. If for any reason the event were to be stopped while in progress, we will refund what we can recoup for that part of the trip not completed. Rest assured, cancellation is highly unlikely.
